Aquí no para de llover. Tenemos ganas locas de ir a la piscina y a la playa pero cada día toca ponerse el chubasquero. Además, llueve con tanta intensidad que hasta vestimos las botas de agua y, como no, el paraguas a juego. Todo de Hatley, la marca que más nos gusta para los días de lluvia. En este post os quiero mostrar todas las propuestas para esta primavera verano 2018. Hace unos días ya os hablé de sus looks de moda infantil hoy toca centrarnos en la lluvia. Sus preciosos chubasqueros totalmente impermeables, están completamente forrados, libres de PVC, llevan un cierre frontal a presión de colores a juego con sus prints, tienne bolsillos de parche delanteros y son lavables en la lavadora. No sé si conocéis la historia de la marca Hatley. Comenzó hace más de veinte años con de mano de la pintora canadiense Alice Oldland y su marido John. Ellos crearon la tienda de regalos The Little Blue House en la aldea de North Hatley en Canadá. Alice, inspirada por el campo que la rodeaba, acababa de terminar una serie de pinturas que representaban animales de corral. Como necesitaba un lugar para mostrar su trabajo, abrió una galería sobre su tienda de regalos The Little Blue House. John observó cómo se vendían las pinturas y pensó que podía crear una línea de delantales basada en las obras de arte de Alice. Los delantales se vendieron de maravilla y se convirtieron rápidamente este negocio artesanal. Tras las vacas y los cerdos de los delantales llegaron los alces y los osos, y luego la línea de regalos y la ropa.
Cuando se jubilaron, John y Alice entregaron las riendas de su negocio a sus tres hijos, Chris, Nick y Jeremy. Chris, el mayor, decidió que él sería el presidente, Nick, el único que podía dibujar bien en la familia, se convirtió en el diseñador, y Jeremy, el más joven, se hizo cargo de la producción. Inquietos como su padre y su madre, hicieron crecer la compañía. Desarrollaron una extensa línea de moda para niños que os voy presentando temporada tras temporada en Blogmodabebe y también crearon ropa de dormir cómoda para mujeres.
Los diseños de Hatley ahora se venden en todo el mundo y los tres hijos de John y Alice continúan asegurándose de que Hatley defienda los mismos principios en los que se basaron sus padres: amor a la familia, buen diseño, calidad y, por supuesto, mucho humor. A nosotros nos encanta esta marca.
HATLEY RAIN CLOTHING IN SPRING

In this post I want to show you all the proposals for this spring-summer 2018. A few days ago I told you about their children’s fashion looks, but today, it’s time to focus on the rain. Their precious totally waterproof raincoats, are completely lined, free of PVC, they have a frontal zipper of colors to go with their prints, it has front parka pockets and they are washable in the washing machine. They are designed for the comfort of children. Also, they like them so much that they do not want to wear anything else. I do not know if you know the history of the Hatley brand. It began more than twenty years ago with the hand of the Canadian painter Alice Oldland and her husband John. They created The Little Blue House gift shop in the village of North Hatley in Canada. Alice, inspired by the surrounding countryside, had just finished a series of paintings depicting barnyard animals. As she needed a place to show her work, she opened a gallery for her gift shop The Little Blue House. John observed how the paintings were sold and thought he could create a line of aprons based on Alice’s artwork. The aprons sold marvelously and quickly became this craft business. After the cows and the pigs in the aprons, the moose and the bears arrived, and then the line of gifts and clothes.
When they retired, John and Alice handed over the reins of their business to their three children, Chris, Nick and Jeremy. Chris, the eldest, decided that he would be the president, Nick, the only one who could draw well in the family, became the designer, and Jeremy, the youngest, took over the production. Restless as his father and mother, they made the company grow. They developed an extensive fashion line for children that I am presenting to you season after season at Blogmodabebe and they also created comfortable sleepwear for women.
Hatley’s designs are now sold all over the world and John and Alice’s three children continue to make sure that Hatley defends the same principles on which his parents based: love of family, good design, quality and, of course, a lot of humor. We love this brand.
