La semana pasada recibí tres cajas. Era el nuevo cochecito Mutsy Nio, del que os hablaba en este blog de puericultura. Es el nuevo cochecito de la marca Mutsy y he podido montarlo y sacarlo a pasear. Con lo que en este reportaje os lo voy a contar todo y os daré mi opinión. El Mutsy Nio está disponible en 8 colores para dos colecciones diferentes: la NORTH realizada con materiales inspirados en la tierra y sus paisajes, y la colección ADVENTURE que también os conectará con la naturaleza a través de sus tonos verdes profundos. El mío es el Adventure Pine Green. Es precioso. Me ha encantado montarlo (es súper sencillo) y os he hecho un vídeo para que lo veáis. Las principales ventajas del Mutsy Nio, a mi parecer, son: una posición reclinada más plana de la silla que podéis utilizar para bebés desde los 6 meses hasta los 15 kgs; para recién nacidos tenéis el capazo que se pliega de manera muy cómoda para almacenarlo sin problema; la tela elástica es muy agradable al tacto y está llena de detalles en cuero marrón (bolsillos, tiras, etc.); las ruedas, que se colocan y extraen fácilmente, y esta vez llevan un extra relieve de espuma y caucho que inciden en el confort y el agarre. Esto hace que sea un carrito útil para ir por ciudad pero también para terrenos más abruptos o menos accesibles. Es un cochecito ligero, su chasis no pesa apenas, y se pliega de manera compacta incluso con la silla que además podéis colocar mirando a papá y mamá o de cara a la marcha, para que vuestro bebé descubra el mundo. El Nio es el último diseño de Mutsy y como os decía en el vídeo me ha encantado descubrir hasta su más mínimo detalle haciendo el unboxing y montaje. Luego cuando hemos ido a pasear con él hemos podido apreciar sus cualidades. Tiene un chasis ligero y a la vez un diseño robusto. El capazo está genial para vuestro recién nacido y ya habéis visto en el vídeo lo fácil que se monta y se pliega para almacenar cuando y no lo necesitéis.
El hecho de que la silla de paseo sea reversible también es un punto a favor. Además, los sistemas de anclaje para situarla de cara a los papás o frente a la marcha son muy sencillos. En un paso tanto la silla como el capazo se sacan de chasis. Tenéis dos indicadores que se ponen de color rojo cuando ambas piezas se han desencajado para poderlas sacar y colocar con mayor seguridad.
El soporte para la espalda se reclina totalmente y tiene varias posiciones que suben de manera muy suave para no forzar ni la columna ni la cabeza del bebé. La posición ergonómica para dormir tiene en cuenta que las piernas también tienen un reposapiés reclinable con lo que al bebé le quedarán estiraditas y estará más cómodo y al niño no le colgarán cuando haya crecido.
Las ruedas van de maravilla por todos los caminos, no solo en la ciudad. Así que es un buen cochecito para un pueblo o para los que tenéis calles muy empinadas. En el vídeo podéis ver lo fácil y rápido que lo pliego, además se puede plegar solo el chasis o con la silla.
El manillar es telescópico y se ajusta en altura para los papás y mamás más altos. Aunque no es muy alto. Las ruedas se sacan apretando sencillos botones. La verdad es que es uno de los cochecitos que he montado de manera más fácil y suave, es decir, sus piezas funcionan de maravilla, están bien diseñadas.
Si os fijáis en las fotos tanto el capazo como la silla de paseo llevan rejilla de ventilación para que pase aire hacia el bebé y podamos verlo si tenemos la capota bajada. Esta se extiende y tiene una visera para mayor protección de los rayos de sol.
La barra delantera móvil se pone y quita con una facilidad asombrosa. Es como si todo funcionara a la primera sin tener que forzar ni apretar. La cesta de la compra integrada es más amplia pero lo que me parece más curioso son los bolsillos, remaches o cremalleras que incorpora la tapicería del Mutsy Nio y que le confiere mucha elegancia.
El bolso maternal que llevo es de la colección North Sailor blue, no obstante el cochecito es de la gama Adventure en el precioso tono pine green, muy poco visto y muy estiloso. WE TRY THE NEW MUTSY NIO

The main advantages of the Mutsy Nio, in my opinion, are: a flatter reclined position of the chair that you can use for babies from 6 months to 15 kgs; for newborns you have the carrycot that folds in a very comfortable way to store it without problem; the elastic fabric is very pleasant to the touch and is full of details in brown leather (pockets, strips, etc.); the wheels, which are easily placed and removed, and this time have an extra relief of foam and rubber that affect comfort and grip. This makes it a useful trolley to go by city but also for steeper or less accessible terrain. It is a light stroller, its chassis does not weigh hardly, and folds compactly even with the chair that you can also place looking at dad and mom or facing the direction, so that your baby discovers the world. El Nio is Mutsy’s latest design and as I told you in the video I was delighted to discover even its smallest detail by doing the unboxing and editing. Then when we went for a walk with it and we were able to appreciate its qualities. It has a lightweight chassis and at the same time a robust design. The carry-cot is great for your newborn and you’ve already seen in the video how easy it is mounted and folded to store when you do not need it.
The fact that the stroller is reversible is also a plus point. In addition, the anchoring systems to place it facing the parents or facing the direction are very simple. In a step both the chair and the carry-cot are removed from the chassis. You have two indicators that turn red when both pieces have been disconnected so they can be removed and placed with greater security.
The back support is fully reclined and has several positions that rise very gently so as not to force the spine or the baby’s head. The ergonomic sleeping position takes into account that the legs also have a reclining footrest with which the baby will be stretched and will be more comfortable and the child will not hang up when he has grown up a bit.
The wheels go great on all roads, not only in the city. So it’s a good stroller for a town or for those who have very steep streets. In the video you can see how easy and fast I fold it, in addition you can fold only the chassis or with the chair.
The handlebar is telescopic and adjusts in height for the dads and taller moms. Although it is not very tall. The wheels are removed by pressing simple buttons. The truth is that it is one of the strollers that I have mounted in an easier and smoother way, that is, its pieces work wonderfully, they are well designed.
If you look at the pictures, both the carry-cot and the stroller have ventilation grille for air to pass to the baby and we can see if we have the top down. This extends and has a visor for more protection from the sun’s rays.
The mobile front bar is set and removed with an amazing ease. It’s as if everything worked the first time without having to force or squeeze. The integrated shopping basket is wider but what I find more curious are the pockets, rivets or zippers that incorporates the Mutsy Nio upholstery and that gives it a lot of elegance.
The maternal bag that I wear is from the North Sailor blue collection, however the stroller is from the Adventure range in the beautiful pine green tone, very little seen and very stylish.
