Hemos tenido la posibilidad de testar los nuevos cochecitos inline® de Phil&Teds: en concreto los modelos dot™ y voyager™, así como el capazo para bebés snug™ y el double kit™, el accesorio más versátil para llevar los cochecitos con 1 o 2 niños. En este blog de puericultura ya te presentamos el lanzamiento de los cuatro carritos en línea: dot™, sport™, dash™ y voyager™ de esta marca de Nueva Zelanda. Su creador diseñó la gama inspirándose en los antiguos triciclos con los que los niños jugaban colocándose de pie en la parte trasera. El resultado son cochecitos muy funcionales y perfectos para ayudar a los padres. Además son fantásticos para cuando la familia crece ya que con la opción del double kit™ vais a convertir cualquier modelo de la gama en un carro para dos niños, ya pueden ser dos bebés con dos capazos o dos niños con dos sillas de paseo y en función del modelo podréis colocarlos en diferentes posturas. Os voy a hablar del modelo de tres ruedas, el dot™, y del voyager™ que son los dos carritos que yo he podido probar. Seguid leyendo para conocerlos al detalle.
El dot™ te va a gustar si buscabas un cochecito de 3 ruedas con una silla amplia y cómoda para tu bebé. Precisamente, la posición estratégica del asiento permiten un manejo óptimo con una sola mano. Las 3 ruedas de 10 pulgadas antipinchazos con suspensión, permiten un paseo suave por la ciudad. Es un cochecito que pesa 11.2kg y ocupa de ancho 58 cm. Como cochecito inline® doble es un buen producto.
El asiento se reclina totalmente con lo que es apto para recién nacido. Se hace con una tira en el respaldo (lo veis en mi vídeo). Al plegarlo hemos comprobado que se ha diseñado para mantener los tejidos y el manillar alejados del suelo, así no se ensucian. Estos tejidos son de color negro pero podéis aportar un toque de color con las colchonetas de colores que tenéis hasta en 8 opciones. El chasis también es negro y podéis colocar en él la silla de auto alpha mediante el adaptador universal de silla de auto de Phil&Teds.
El cochecito dot™ tiene una amplia capota extensible con cremalleras, con protección UPF50 y con una ventanita para ver a vuestro bebé durante el paseo. Otros de los aspectos que os gustará es su amplia cestilla portaobjetos que aguanta hasta 10 kg de capacidad. El cochecito lleva freno de pedal fácilmente accionable, yo lo he probado con chanclas.
La carga máxima de la silla del cochecito es de 20kg que no está nada mal para llevar niños grandes. Si adaptáis una segunda silla con el double kit™ esta aguanta 15kg. Como os decía la silla, que lleva arnés de seguridad de 5 puntos con liberación en un sólo toque, es bastante amplia para que el bebé esté cómodo también cuando duerma. No obstante, para los primeros meses podéis optar por comprar el capazo snug™ que también hemos montado fácilmente y probado.
Capazo snug™
El capazo viene completamente plegado en una caja en la que podréis almacenarlo. Se pliega completamente plano y se monta en tres sencillos pasos, añadiendo el colchoncito y el cubrecapazo que tenéis también disponible en tres colores. El snug™ es compatible con todos los carritos inline™ dot™, sport™, dash™ & voyager™ e incluye los adaptadores que de manera muy óptima os diré que son exactamente los mismos que los del double kit™ (el accesorio o silla que os permitirá llevar a dos hermanos).
Si compráis el capazo lo utilizaréis desde que vuestro bebé nazca hasta que se pueda sentar sin ayuda. La carga máxima es de 9kg. Cuando veáis que el pequeñín se quiere erguir es el momento de pasarlo a la silla. Esto varía en cada niño o niña. Si queréis llevar el capazo más elevado para ver a vuestro bebé durante el paseo Phil&Teds tiene también un set de clip extensores. Han pensado en todo. Recordad que el capazo se coloca siempre mirando a papá y mamá, no mirando a la marcha.
Este capazo podéis colocarlo sobre el suelo o con el accesorio lazyted™ hacer un divertido balancín para vuestro bebé, que es además apto para dormir toda la noche. El capazo tiene también capota con protección UPF50 con una cómoda asa para llevarlo, colocarlo y quitarlo del cochecito fácilmente. Lo veis en mi vídeo.

Double kit™
El kit que os permitirá convertir vuestro cochecito Phil&teds en familiar se monta súper fácil y rápido. Es realmente un accesorio versátil y bien pensado si necesitáis un carrito para 2 niños. Se puede adaptar de múltiples maneras. El asiento que como os decía aguanta 15kg es multiajustable, con arnés de seguridad de 5 puntos integrado, y reclinable con capota extensible para mayor protección. Lleva incluso una barra de protección delantera abatible y un reposapiés ajustable. El adaptador, que es el mismo que el del capazo snug™ viene incluido. Sirve para todos los nuevos carritos inline® de la marca, el dot™, el sport™, el dash™ y el voyager™.
Voyager™
También hemos tenido la posibilidad de conocer un cochecito versátil de cuatro ruedas como el voyager™. Es un cochecito intuitivo y modular para 1 o 2 niños como veréis en nuestras fotos. El asiento modular del voyager es independiente del chasis, así que se puede colocar hacia delante o de cara a los padres, al colocar el double kit™ vais a tener aún más opciones. El asiento se reclina con una mano en múltiples posiciones. También podéis adaptar el capazo snug™ para recién nacido o la silla de auto alpha™ de Phil&teds.
Os gustará su look elegante en negro pero atención aquí los tejidos se han diseñado en un moderno gris melange que podéis combinar con cualquiera de los 8 colores de la colchoneta cushy ride™. Si utilizáis dos sillas podéis poner dos colchonetas combinadas.
Nosotros hemos llevado el voyager™ con dos niños para ver cómo funcionaba, si pesaba o no y si era confortable. La conducción es suave. Sus ruedas también son de aire antipinchazos y lleva suspensión para la comodidad de tu bebé. Las ruedas traseras son de 12 pulgadas aeromaxx™ y las de delanteras giratorias, precisamente para facilitar esa conducción por la ciudad con 1 o 2 niños.
Fue muy divertido probar el accesorio double kit™ e investigar en sus posibles colocaciones para orientar a los niños de manera diferente: a modo tándem o cara a cara para que vayan más entretenidos. También se pliega muy rápido como el dot™ con una sola mano y los tejidos y el manillar quedan alejados del suelo. La sillas son muy amplias y cómodas con arnés de seguridad de 5 puntos de anclaje que se libera con apretar el botón.
La cestilla inferior tiene una capacidad de hasta 10kg y la capota es extensible con protección solar UPF50 con visor silencioso. El voyager™ tiene una barra de protección frontal extraíble que se abre y rota por ambos lados para ofrecer una experiencia aún más cómoda. ¿Qué os parecen estos modelos versátiles de Phil&teds?

WE TEST THE PHIL & TEDS INLINE® CARS
We have had the opportunity to test the new inline® strollers by Phil & Teds: specifically the dot ™ and voyager ™ models, as well as the snug ™ baby carrycot and the double kit ™, the most versatile accessory to carry the strollers with 1 or 2 children. In this childcare blog we have already presented the launch of the four carts online: dot ™, sport ™, dash ™ and voyager ™ of this brand from New Zealand. Its creator designed the range inspired by the old tricycles with which children played standing in the back. The result is very functional and they are perfect strollers to help parents. They are also fantastic for when the family grows because with the option of the double kit ™ you are going to convert any model of the range into a car for two children, it can be done so for two babies with two carrycots or two children with two strollers and in depending on the model you can place them in different positions. I am going to talk about the three-wheel model, the dot ™, and the voyager ™ which are the two carts that I have been able to test. Keep reading to find out more in detail.
You will like the dot ™ if you were looking for a 3-wheel stroller with a large and comfortable chair for your baby. Precisely, the strategic position of the seat allows optimal handling with one hand. The three 10-inch flat tires with suspension allow a smooth ride through the city. It is a stroller that weighs 11.2kg and occupies a width of 58 cm. As a double inline stroller it is a good product.
The seat fully reclines with what is suitable for newborn. It is done with a strip on the back (you can see it in my video). When folding it we have verified that it has been designed to keep the fabrics and the handlebars away from the ground, so they do not get dirty. These fabrics are black but you can bring a touch of color with the colored mats that you have up to 8 options. The chassis is also black and you can place the alpha car seat on it using the universal car seat adapter from Phil & Teds.
The dot ™ stroller has a large extendable hood with zippers, SPF50 protection and a window to see your baby during the ride. Other aspects that you will like is its wide slide basket that holds up to 10 kg capacity. The stroller has an easily operated pedal brake, I’ve tried it with flip flops.
The maximum load of the stroller chair is 20kg which is not bad for carrying large children. If you adapt a second chair with the double kit ™, it holds 15kg. As I said the chair, which has a 5-point safety harness with one-touch release, is wide enough for the baby to be comfortable also when he sleeps. However, for the first months you can choose to buy the snug ™ carrycot that we have also easily assembled and tested.
Snug ™ carrycot
The carrycot is completely folded in a box in which you can store it. It folds completely flat and mounts in three simple steps, adding the mattress and the cover that you also have available in three colors. The snug ™ is compatible with all inline ™ dot ™, sport ™, dash ™ & voyager ™ trolleys and includes adapters that are very optimal and are exactly the same as those of the double kit ™ (the accessory or chair that will allow you to take two brothers).
If you buy the carrycot you will use it from the moment your baby is born until he can sit without help. The maximum load is 9kg. When you see that the little one wants to stand up, it’s time to pass him to the chair. This varies in each boy or girl. If you want to carry the highest carrycot to see your baby during the walk Phil & Teds also has an extension clip set. They have thought of everything. Remember that the carrycot is always placed looking at dad and mom, not looking forward.
This carrycot can be placed on the floor or with the lazyted ™ accessory to make a fun rocker for your baby, which is also suitable for sleeping all night. The carrycot also has a SPF50 protection hood with a comfortable handle to carry, place and remove it from the stroller easily. You see it in my video.

Double kit ™
The kit that will allow you to convert your Phil & teds stroller into a family is super easy and fast. It is really a versatile and well thought out accessory if you need a cart for 2 children. It can be adapted in multiple ways. The seat that as I was saying endures 15kg is multiajustable, with integrated 5-point safety harness, and reclining with extensible hood for added protection. It even has a folding front protection bar and an adjustable footrest. The adapter, which is the same as the snug ™ carrycot is included. It is suitable for all new inline® carts of the brand, dot ™, sport ™, dash ™ and voyager ™.
Voyager ™
We have also had the possibility of getting to know a versatile four-wheel stroller such as voyager ™. It is an intuitive and modular stroller for 1 or 2 children as you will see in our photos. The modular seat of the voyager is independent of the chassis, so it can be placed forward or facing the parents, by placing the double kit ™ you will have even more options. The seat reclines with one hand in multiple positions. You can also adapt the snug ™ carrycot for newborns or the alpha ™ car seat from Phil & teds.
You will like its elegant look in black but attention here the fabrics have been designed in a modern melange gray that you can combine with any of the 8 colors of the cushy ride ™ mat. If you use two chairs you can combine two mats.
We have taken the voyager ™ with two children to see how it wroks, whether it weighed or not and whether it was comfortable. The driving is smooth. Its wheels are also air puncture and carry suspension for the comfort of your baby. The rear wheels are 12-inch aeromaxx ™ and the front wheels are swivel, precisely to facilitate driving in the city with 1 or 2 children.
It was a lot of fun to try the double kit ™ accessory and investigate its possible placements to guide children differently: in tandem mode or face to face so that they can be more entertained. It also folds very quickly like the dot ™ with one hand and the fabrics and handlebars are far from the ground. The chairs are very spacious and comfortable with safety harness with 5 anchor points that is released by pressing the button.
The lower basket has a capacity of up to 10kg and the hood is extensible with SPF50 sunscreen with silent viewfinder. The Voyager ™ has a removable front protection bar that opens and rotates on both sides to offer an even more comfortable experience. What do you think of these versatile models of Phil & teds?
